Respect existence or expect resistance; let's get to know it!

Respect existence means that you must acknowledge your fellow human beings as being present in their own right and with their own rights - show appropriate courtesy and allow for differences without penalty.

"… or expect resistance" means that, if you do not, don’t be surprised if they object, and if their anger turns to protest or even violence.

It is like a warning to do the right thing by other people, or you have only yourselves to blame if there are consequences.
